Counting the Grains is a safe place for women to practice and fall (back) in love with being sensitive to God's voice. We're inspired by Psalms 139, which says that God thinks about us more than there are grains of sand. His thoughts for us are vast, precious and marinated in love. How much more then, does the heart of our Father long to share those thoughts with his children! We desire to see participants grow in confidence in knowing the voice, all while being edified and established in their God-given identity.
How does it work?
Participants join a group of Women and commit to a multi-week session (depending on the number of participants). Each week a random name is selected and it sent out on the group chat. From there the remaining women pursue the voice of the Lord on behalf of "The person of the week." All words are privately messaged to the receiver. Each Sunday another person is chosen, sent out on the group chat and the cycle repeats itself.
We desire to see CTG multiply and fill the earth. In order to do that, those who have completed their first session then replicate by starting their own group. Ideally, this happens by pairing up with someone from your group, each of you invites two friends, and you create a new group. Pairing up shares the responsibility of leading, while also providing accountability should any issues arise. We understand that this is not always possible, and so if a lady would like to launch her own group, she is more than welcome to do so.
As each group grows and multiplies, more ladies are given the opportunity in a safe environment to hear God for themselves, to learn to recognise His voice, to speak Life to others and to normalise walking and talking with their Father. This is THE most wonderful gift we have been given.
